hey, is player movement framerate dependent? Movement from fungii1231231's run appears to be just plain faster then what I'm getting so I wonder if maybe it's caused by the code
just checked, and apparently i forgot to make the swinging animation framerate dependant, thanks for pointing that out! all the movement should be framerate dependant tho, just compared our walk speeds and they look the same!
insanely good. Big speedrunning/challenge potential. I was able to get 0 stroke finishes on all except 1st and 4rd (I got 1 stroke finish on both, but I think lvl4 0 stroke is possible)
btw, crouching doesn't really work with web because ctrl+key is so many shortcuts. Also audio is a bit glitchy. And to access pause menu you need to press esc which minimizes the window. Here is my minimum stroke footage:
Very cool idea and goofy, enjoyable art. Following in hopes to see an end product! FYI if you tap a ball, then quickly grab it while its still moving, you can just carry it around. Unsure if that's intended behavior or not!
Thanks for playing! Just added a new build if you wanna try it out again. I also added a scoring system that punishes you for doing to many strokes, just like in real golf!

Ah I noticed now you didnt run in your playthrough... you can press shift to run, ill prob add a control scheme to the game/itch page!
omg, no way. The club on their footage is still swinging a lot compared to what I see. Is there an explanation for it?

update: got 0 strokes on lvl4. I don't think it's possible on lvl1 tho.
Also, can you please add the current lvl number to the finish screen? Also, maybe a timer? Also, maybe the version number to the starting screen?
